Your setup, step by step

  1. Create your account

    On your phone, open theweasel.tv and tap Create an account (or open the menu and tap Sign Up). Fill in your details, then open the confirmation email and tap Confirm my email. Sign in to your dashboard.

  2. Request WeaselPlex

    In your dashboard, open WeaselPlex → Request access. Tap Request my free account. When you see You're in!, tap Get the apps.

  3. iPhone

    Choose iPhone or iPad. Tap Get TestFlight and install it from the App Store. Return to the website and tap Download WeaselPlex app. Follow the TestFlight prompts, then install and open WeaselPlex. Tap Connect to your account, sign in if asked, and tap Approve. The app opens again by itself. Allow notifications and tap Done.

  4. Android phone

    Download WeaselPlex and open the file. If asked, allow installs from Chrome, then tap Install → Open. In WeaselPlex, tap Connect to your account. Sign in on theweasel.tv if asked, then tap Approve.

  5. TV box

    The steps are the same on Nvidia Shield, Onn 4K and Xiaomi TV Box. Get Downloader from Google Play. Enter 9216225 in its address box and select ✓. Install WeaselPlex; if asked, allow installs from Downloader, press Back and continue. Open WeaselPlex, scan its QR code with your phone, check the code matches and tap Approve on theweasel.tv. Your TV signs in by itself.

  6. You’re all set
