WeaselTV policy
Terms of service
The deal between you and WeaselTV: how accounts, orders, payment and your service work. By creating an account or using WeaselTV, you agree to these terms.
At a glance
- One year of serviceYour service runs for a year from the day it goes live. Each TV is one connection.
- No payment on the siteSending a request is free. Once we approve it, you pay from your invoice, any time before delivery.
- The boxes are yoursStreaming boxes are a one-time purchase, and yours to keep whether or not you renew.
- Renewing is up to youWe email you a renewal notice 30 days before your service ends. Nothing renews unless you choose to.
Your account
You need an account to request service, open support requests and link your devices. Use your real name, phone number and email address, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Only enter your password at theweasel.tv. We'll never ask you for it.
- If you think someone else is using your account, tell us right away.
Ordering
- Build your plan on the pricing page and send a purchase request. It's free, and nothing is charged.
- The Weasel checks availability, approves your request and sends your invoice with your confirmed price. Prices on the site are estimates until then, and they don't include tax.
- Pay from your invoice any time after your request is approved, and before delivery.
- We deliver your streaming boxes by hand, preloaded and ready to go, or ship them if you ask.
- Your service goes live and your year starts. Your service dates are on your final invoice and in your dashboard.
A quote is good for 30 days. We can turn down a request, for example if we can't supply what you picked.
Paying
There's no payment on this website. When we approve your purchase request, we send you an invoice that lists the ways you can pay. Scan the QR code on your invoice, or tap Pay now in your dashboard or invoice email, to see every way to pay. Then tap the one you want and send your payment.
You can pay any time after your request is approved, and no later than delivery. We never ask for card or bank details on the site.
Your service
Your service runs for one year from the day it goes live, and each TV on your plan is one connection. Your service dates are on your final invoice and in your dashboard.
Renewing
Your service doesn't renew by itself. 30 days before it ends, we email you a renewal notice.
Renewing is up to you. To keep watching without a break, pay your renewal invoice before your service ends. If you don't, your apps stop playing when your service ends.
What can change
Channels, movies and shows come and go, so we can't promise any one of them will always be available. We also need to do maintenance from time to time. We keep it as short as we can, and you can check the status page any time.
Streaming boxes
Boxes are a one-time purchase, and they're yours to keep whether or not you renew your service. You can also use a box you already own, or watch on your phone. Our apps are made for the boxes we sell, so we can't promise they'll work on every other device.
To return a box, see our Refund policy.
WeaselPlex
WeaselPlex, our movies and shows server, comes free with your service. Ask for access in your account and the Weasel will approve it. We can remove access if it's misused.
Using WeaselTV fairly
Our Acceptable use policy is part of these terms. In short: don't share your sign-in, don't resell or rebroadcast your service, and don't use more connections than your plan includes.
Suspending or ending service
We may suspend or end your service if you break these terms, don't pay, or misuse WeaselTV. Unless it's serious, we'll talk to you first and give you a chance to put it right.
You can stop using WeaselTV at any time. If you don't want to renew, just don't pay your renewal invoice. To close your account, email us. Refunds follow our Refund policy.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep WeaselTV running, but it's an internet service. Outages, buffering and lineup changes can happen, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and the most we'll owe you for any claim is what you paid us for service in the 12 months before it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is big, we'll also let you know by email or in your account.
